Iphone 6 Plus Review

A 5.5-inch iPhone. It's something which will send a shudder down the spines of a collective of die-hard Apple fans, a handset some thought we'd never see from the Cupertino-based outfit.

Let's be honest: the past few weeks haven't exactly been the easiest for Apple. From the glitchy livestream during its product announcement to theproblematic preorder launch of the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, to the public-relations headache-inducing "Bendgate," to the outright catastrophic iOS 8.0.1 software update (which was nearly immediately pulled and replaced days later with an 8.0.2 update), the last few weeks could have gone much smoother for the California-based company.

Yet here I am, staring down the barrel of the biggest iPhone in history - the iPhone 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 Plus marks the biggest leap in iPhones since the iPhone 4 and will have implications for the iPads as well. With a large 5.5" screen to straddle the difference between the iPhone and the iPad Air.
It arrived alongside the iPhone 6 - Apple's new flagship smartphone - which measures 4.7 inches, making it more welcoming to a wider array of palms than the supersized iPhone 6 Plus.Apple is looking to reach a previously untapped audience of smartphone users - those who demand a large screen, with 'productivity' the main buzzword being thrown around. A key market for the iPhone 6 Plus is Asia, where general consensus seems to be bigger = better when it comes to smartphone screens.

Galaxy Note Edge Review

Just about a month ago, Samsung took to the stage in Berlin, Germany and announced a handful of new products including the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Gear VR, Gear S smartwatch, and a unique new product called the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The Galaxy Note Edge will be a part of the storied Galaxy Note series though it’s unlike any Galaxy Note that’s ever been released.
While it shares some things in common with the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note Edge is a little bit different. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a Quad HD resolution, a 2.7 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 805 with 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Samsung TouchWiz, 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, massive battery, and a thin 8.3mm frame. It also comes with an S Pen stylus though the display, seen in the video below, should be its biggest draw.

Besides writing on the edge, the Galaxy Note Edge’s specs seem to check out and look pretty good: Android Kitkat 4.4 OS, fast charging battery, lots of space, slick display, and a 2.7 GHz quad-core processor.
The Galaxy Note Edge will give new users a different mobile experience than they’re used to with non-edged phones, obviously. If anything, buyers of this phone will get people’s attention because it really looks like no other phone on the market. That will get a lot of people talking.
