Just about a month ago, Samsung took to the stage in Berlin, Germany and announced a handful of new products including the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Gear VR, Gear S smartwatch, and a unique new product called the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The Galaxy Note Edge will be a part of the storied Galaxy Note series though it’s unlike any Galaxy Note that’s ever been released.
While it shares some things in common with the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note Edge is a little bit different. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a Quad HD resolution, a 2.7 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 805 with 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Samsung TouchWiz, 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, massive battery, and a thin 8.3mm frame. It also comes with an S Pen stylus though the display, seen in the video below, should be its biggest draw.
Besides writing on the edge, the Galaxy Note Edge’s specs seem to check out and look pretty good: Android Kitkat 4.4 OS, fast charging battery, lots of space, slick display, and a 2.7 GHz quad-core processor.
The Galaxy Note Edge will give new users a different mobile experience than they’re used to with non-edged phones, obviously. If anything, buyers of this phone will get people’s attention because it really looks like no other phone on the market. That will get a lot of people talking.
